چکیده
Abstract In this paper, we improve the finiteness constant for principles $C^m({\mathbb{R}}^n,{\mathbb{R}}^D)$ and $C^{m-1,1}({\mathbb{R}}^n,{\mathbb{R}}^D)$ selection proven in [ 19] extend more general shape fields principle to vector-valued case.

On the finiteness and shape of the Universe
Previous plausible theoretical assumptions about the cosmic 3-manifold, such as isotropy, orientability, and compactness, have been unable to reduce the number of candidate topologies to a finite set. We now consider several new possible assumptions inspired by relationships between microscopic physics and cosmic topology. The most important are 1. “No-twist” assumption that there does not exis...
متن کاملThe principle of finiteness – a guideline for physical laws
I propose a new principle in physics–the principle of finiteness (FP).It stems from the definition of physics as a science that deals with measurable dimensional physical quantities. Since measurement results including their errors, are always finite, FP postulates that the mathematical formulation of legitimate laws in physics should prevent exactly zero or infinite solutions. I propose finite...

متن کاملShape deformations based on vector fields
This thesis explores applications of vector field processing to shape deformations. We present a novel method to construct divergence-free vector fields which are used to deform shapes by vector field integration (Chapter 2). The resulting deformation is volume-preserving and no self-intersections occur. We add more controllability to this approach by introducing implicit boundaries (Chapter 3)...
متن کاملElectromagnetic Fields and the Precautionary Principle
While for substances that may be detrimental to health if incorporated through the skin, or by inhalation or ingestion precautionary procedures have been developed in the past decades that are applied in a transparent and standardised way by health authorities, public health agencies and international organisations in order to protect the public from a potential health hazard, no such procedure...
